Hi Has anyone had experience with setting up a Texas Zigbee CC2431 Location Engine transceiver for indoor geo-location?? I need to set-up a system to test indoor geo-location accuracy. Is this the correct forum?? Thanks Clive

Are there allready commercial products on the market that follow the PRO standard + implement the standard HA-profile? I only found own interpretations of companies.

I need to do some research (for my thesis) on ZigBee for Home Automation. I find only a couple of Demo/Development/... kits that have the support for the Home Automation profiles. (Ember, Freescale, RadioPulse, meshnetics but not shure on lite version, ...) But they're all pretty expensive (+$1000). The cheaper ones sometimes have kits with demo's for Home Automation. But I need to attach a ZigBee coordinator to a software package that controls the home (domotics). If a ZigBee temperature sensor/engine for curtains/... is installed somewhere in the house. It needs to understand it and make decision depending on it's status etc.

Hi, I am new to zigbee. I am trying to send and recieve data between Hyperterminal and SmartRF04EB. I am using the "Sereial App" program, given with the Zstack as a base. I am able to send data using HalUARTWrite(). But when i try to read data using HalUARTRead(), it reads nothing. Curiously, If some data is already written to hyperterminal using HalUARTWrite(), that much of data can be read!

I have a CC2430 development kit with me. I need to sniff zigbee radio packets for one of my application. Is there any way out to get interfaced with PHY or MAC (802.15.4) for capturing zigbee packets? So, if anyone could give me some advice or pointers, I would really appreciate it.
